My approach to wedding photography is a contemporary, friendly and relaxed reportage style. I work in a discrete way, taking informal group portraits and concentrating on capturing the essence of the day with all the emotions, fun and happiness. Many years in fashion and art directing have taught me that the best images always have a quality of freshness and spontaneity.  Some of my all-time favorite shots have been taken at caught moments when people aren't aware they are having their picture taken. From the bride getting ready, through to the speeches and the first dance; there are so many wonderful and spontaneous moments to capture. What I achieve when photographing a wedding is a thoughtful and creative record of the day allowing you to relax and enjoy every moment of your celebrations.

I pride myself on a friendly and personal service, only ever booking one wedding a day so no matter how long you book me for my full attention will be on you and your wedding. I like to create a great raport with each couple from the beginning so it will always be me who speaks to you on the phone, answers your emails, meets with you to run through your requirements and photographs the day. All these things make it easier to build a trusting relationship which means I can be a part of your wedding, and get those great individual shots, rather than just being 'the photographer'. Your wedding is individual to you so I like to offer flexibility when putting together a package and a price, this way it will be tailored exactly to your requirements and you get just the type of photography and coverage you want. Your photography is about investing in something that will last forever, you can't drink your bubbly or wear the dress again but your photographs are for keeps.
